Sometimes it feels like Manny Pacquiao and Bob Arum take a poll of which fighter fans want the Filipino champion to fight next – and then do the exact opposite.

For days now, rumors have circulated that Timothy Bradley is likely the next fighter to get a shot at Pacquiao after they both make quick work of their November 12 opponents. Pacquiao, of course, is fighting Juan Manuel Marquez that night and, Bradley, for his part, will star on the undercard in a bout versus Joel Casamayor.

The speculation only increased when Bradley officially inked a long-term deal with Arum’s Top Rank group. With the move, Bradley essentially brought himself into the fold and, theoretically at least, made himself the most viable candidate to get dibs on a main event showdown against Pacquiao.

Given Arum’s longstanding history of giving his golden goose a fight against other Top Rank fighters, Bradley’s move makes sense.

Recently, Freddie Roach talked to Ring TV and pounded home the notion that Pacquiao vs. Bradley will likely be on the agenda in 2012.

“Bradley is a tough kid,” Roach said. “But I guess that if you have to mention Tim Bradley, then I’m like, ‘Is that all that we’ve got? Tim Bradley?’ Since Bob Arum has signed him, that’s what everyone is assuming – that Manny Pacquiao is next for Tim Bradley. So maybe I will have to assume that too.

“Tim Bradley ducked one of my guys, Amir Khan, and he would get knocked out by my other guy, Manny Pacquiao.”

Roach’s reaction is hilarious on a number of levels. Everything from his dismissive tone regarding Bradley’s shot at standing toe-to-toe against Pacquiao to repeatedly saying that he’s “all we’ve got” to, best of all, calling him out for ducking Khan is classic. It’s vintage Roach – brutally honest and basically saying what everyone at home is thinking.

Too bad the other geniuses that hover around Pacquiao don’t share Roach’s common sense approach to life. And just in case anyone was starting to doubt whether Roach still understood the fans like he did back in the day, he dropped this little tidbit:

“Everyone still hopes that the fight is out there with Mayweather, I’m sure. I’d rather see Mayweather against Manny than Tim Bradley against Manny. But is Pacquiao-Mayweather going to happen? We just have no idea,” Roach said. “I guess if Floyd Mayweather doesn’t come to the table, then that is all we’ve got, Tim Bradley.”

There is nothing more that needs to be said – Roach said it all for us.

No one wants to see Bradley get whipped by Pacquiao because, at the end of the day, that’s precisely what would happen. He’d get whipped in boring beatdown. And yes, a fight against Mayweather would be ideal, even after all of the pitfalls and annoyances that everyone has experienced over the last two years.

If only Roach would comment on Sergio Martinez’s challenge.

Then the man who runs Wildcard Gym in Hollywood would officially be the greatest man in the world.

Even in the matter of going back to Manila from his almost one month of altitude training here, its Manny Pacquiao’s wish that prevailed.

To the consternation of trainer Freddie Roach whose decision to leave Baguio City yesterday was again overruled by the seven-division champ’s desire to stay one more day here for reason only he knew.

Team Pacquiao will instead leave Thursday after another day of sparring at the Shape Up Boxing Gym at the Cooyessan Hotel.
If it’s any consolation though, Roach said the postponement can also benefit Pacquiao as it will give him the opportunity to box with Amir Khan for several more rounds.

“That’ll more than make up for lost time brought about by bad weather that cancelled at least two days of roadwork,” Roach said by way of consoling himself.
Khan, the World Boxing Association junior-welterweight kingpin, also cancelled his flight to the United States. He will join today’s trip to Manila instead and probably also join the team’s flight to Los Angeles Saturday.

Khan tests Pacquiao’s mettle anew in another four-round skirmish in, including another seven-round against regular sparmates Glen Tapia and Michael Medina, serves as his last in this, the country’s summer capital.

Counting the 68 rounds had earlier done, the reigning WBO welterweight titleholder will end his Baguio training with a total 79 rounds.

Roach told the Manila Standard he will be scheduling 60 rounds more to round out his sparring in his Los Angeles’ Wild Card Gym where the team will stay before proceeding to Texas for the Filipino icon’s 12-round date with tough Mexican Antonio Margarito.

The “Pacman” and the “TijuanaTornado” battle November 13 (Nov. 14 in Manila) for the vacant World Boxing Council junior-middleweight crown at the multi-million-dollar Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

Despite his disappointment in not leaving for Manila yesterday, Roach expressed elation with the way his ward did the mitts and shadow-boxed yesterday.

He was, in fact, all smile and was exchanging jokes with Pacman after the day’s session.

“It was a good two days,” he murmured in reference to yesterday and Tuesday sparring that saw Pacquiao and Khan wowed all those admitted inside the gym with their speed and punching power.

For the second straight day, Pacman’s wife Jinkee watched her husband workout yesterday.

Pacman’s latest showing in the gym came as a stark contrast to Saturday and Monday sessions that failed to impress Top Rank top honcho Bob Arum, who, incidentally left for Manila yesterday following a five-day stay here.

As I have watched Pacquiao’s boxing career in the last 5 years skyrocket into boxing fame and prestige, there has been one notable man right in his corner – Freddie Roach. As the skilled and savvy boxing trainer that has gone up against such trainers as Nacho Beristain, Roger Mayweather, and Floyd Mayweather, SR, Roach stands above everyone else because his fighter Pacquiao wisely listens to the man in his corner with a clear objective – to box and win.

As far as I can see, there is something genuine and kind about the Pacquiao – Roach boxing relationship. The partnership has met with its challenges, especially since Pacquiao’s focus has increasingly ventured outside of the ring. Pacquiao is a true multi-tasker and with his current political success back in the Philippines, Roach remains busy. As the Mayweather – Pacquiao mega-bout buckled in contract negotiations and hearsay, it’s been considered what will happen to the Hall of Fame Roach and what are his prospects? Can he or will he find another Pacquiao like fighter in the current boxing pool of talent?

Even as Roach suffers from Parkinson’s, he shows no signs of resting or settling down from boxing. Physically, his body may resist, but mentally, Roach is there for his fighters. More importantly, boxers and MMA fighters seek Roach to help improve their boxing. He will continue to train as long as he can. It’s a true testament to his physical and mental will to battle a disease that can only get worse. He is a living and breathing example that if mentally and physically motivated, you can defeat anything. Roach is a true fighter even outside the ring.

If and when he should decide to retire, Roach has always made it clear that his fighter Pacquiao calls all the shots. But it’s not as if he doesn’t have a say either. I’ve never been quite clear just how much influence Roach has on Pacquiao, but he’s always been adamant about training and protecting Pacquiao by choosing fighters that he knows he can beat. There is no doubt that Roach has made Pacquiao into a better fighter by showing diligence with analyzing Pacquiao’s opponents so perfectly that he has been able to predict that his boxer will come away as the winner.

In his last two bouts, Pacquiao had a tendency to test his opponent and not necessarily as a form of strategy. Against Cotto, Pacquiao wanted to test his body by physically taking shots and biting the jab. And, against Clottey, Pacquiao did the same thing in the opening rounds. Roach brushed this aside and set Pacquiao back into boxing. Pacquiao listened and won both bouts. But it does reveal a moment that a fighter is breaking free from his trainer to a degree – knowing his own ability, but for a brief moment stepping independently and showing everyone else what he can really do. Roach does not tolerate such independence, but instills his fighting will and pulls his fighter back to settle to the immediate task – to box and win.

As Pacquiao is a living and boxing result of Roach’s training, I’d also like to mention that there is something about Roach that makes him a trainer that a fighter that can trust. I believe that Roach genuinely cares and cultivates his fighter to be not only the best fighter possible, but the best person as well. Roach is an obvious man of integrity. Even as the Pacquiao steroid accusations were being thrown around by the Mayweathers, Roach did not hurl back any insults except to maybe challenge Floyd Mayweather (JR or SR) himself and put the fight to the ring where it belongs. Roach has a level of grace and kindness that works with his fighters and the success rate is obvious. Roach works his fighters hard and I always thought it was motivating for Pacquiao sparring partners to accept his $1,000 challenge to knock his fighter out. I don’t think he’s had to make good on that bet just yet.

Since Roach’s boxer Pacquiao has met with such great success over a period of time, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum and Golden Boy promoter Oscar De La Hoya should really look to the Hall of Fame trainer to work with their young prospects. As Roach helped train De La Hoya in his bout against Mayweather, JR., he knows firsthand how motivating Roach can be. Although the partnership ended with a loss for De La Hoya, Roach does know how to take a boxer’s assets and turn them into powerful boxing weapons. But enough about his past, Roach’s future imprint remains steady as he has now worked with some established and talented boxers.

Roach currently offers training assistance to world class champion and female Filipina fighter, Ana “Hurricane” Julaton, 7-2, 1 KO. Julaton became the current WBO Women’s Super Bantamweight titleholder when she defeated Maria Elena Villalobos,
7-4, 3 KO’s back in June. Even as Julaton suffered a loss and a bad cut against Lisa Brown, 17-4, 5 KO’s in March, she came back stronger to earn the WBO belt. I’m sure she’ll continue her winning ways

Golden Boy fighter and talented champ Amir Khan, 23-1, 17 KO’s, shows definite championship potential to dominate at light welterweight. But it’s a division that is filled with potential challengers. It won’t be easy for De La Hoya to match up Khan because I’m sure it’s also a matter of who will be the challenging fighter for Khan, but at the same time be financially rewarding. With Roach, Khan showed a good jab and power cross combination with a cultivated lead hand. In his last fight against Paul Malignaggi, 27-4, 5 KO’s, I observed that Khan didn’t necessarily beat the animated Magic Man from Brooklyn. Khan defeated Malignaggi with an 11th round TKO and defended the WBA Light Welterweight title.

As Roach helped Pacquiao through the various weight divisions, he does have training experience with heavyweight and cruiserweight fighters. He is the former trainer of James “Lights Out” Toney, now MMA fighter (I guess – insert wink emoticon here). He has also trained Michael Moorer. In August, Roach was in the corner of Nigerian Cruiserweight Lateef “Power” Kayode, 13-0, 12 KO’s. Kayode, 27 years old, stands at 6’3, and defeated Puerto Rican fighter Alfredo Escalera, JR, 18-3, 12 KO’s with an 8th round TKO. MMA fighters such as Dan Hardy, Arlovski, and Anderson Silva have all sought boxing (or stand up) assistance from the Hall of Famer Trainer

There is also one possibility that wouldn’t be a bad decision for Roach. It would be okay that once Pacquiao hangs up his gloves, Roach may consider retirement (in the Philippines) as well. And this is one fortunate option that isn’t necessarily a bad one. But as I can tell, Roach has no such intention and will always be in the ring with his fighter supporting and cheering his fighter to be only the best and come away as the winner. It’s the only option Trainer Freddie Roach truly knows.

For those who don’t know Venus Raj, she is a child born out of wedlock. She was born in Doha, Qatar and after birth her mother take her to Bato, Camarines Sur in Bicol Region, Philippines. Her aunt registered Venus as a Philippine-born child to Roman Catholic parents.

The early life of Venus Raj was not the usual cozy life some enjoys, she lived in a nipa hut made of wood, bamboo and anahaw leaves with no electricity in the middle of a sprawling rice field in the rural Bato town for more than twenty years. She allegedly used rice paddy dikes for her early training where she eventually developed her distinct catwalk.

Venus started to join beauty contests at the age of 17 as well as other contests like oratorical and public speaking. She trained well in Englis and won major contests when she participated in.

Her greatest achievement is winning the Bb. Pilipinas Universe in 2010. However, like her childhood life the Bb. Pilipinas Charities did not make it easy for her. They stripped her off the crown after the alleged inconsistencies between her birth certificate and the personal account of her birth. The organizers failed to understand the situation she was in.

Venus Raj and her fans never surrendered despite what happened and after months of campaign online and offline, she was reinstated to the title of Bb. Pilipinas Universe and was allowed to compete in the Miss Universe 2010.

Venus Raj holds the record as the first-ever dethroned Binibining Pilipinas to have successfully attempted for a reinstatement of a Binibining Pilipinas crown. This had been her biggest problem and also her biggest triumph.

She might not have answered the question well but her accomplishment is far greater than anyone could have imagined. This is Miss Philippines Venus Raj’s major major problem and major major triumph.

hey guys i like chuck to but sorry for this. it’s the only free blog point i know. Full metal alchemist (anime) If you wanted the tv show in the beginning and not only internet then you’d know that the manga with roy mustang killing lust (humonculus) is a lie. They had completed the tv series (AKA more than 51 episodes).
By the military frank archer from being hurt (nearly died) from the philosophers stone creation at lerore was turned into a killing machine freak. (kills several military people as revenge) all homunculus killed by full metal except wrath, envy, fuhrer, and gluttony.
Roy kills the fuhrer Bradley using the fuhrers skull as his original body for a weakness.
Then Roy is shot at in the eye by frank. Hawk eye kills frank. I missed some episodes so i don’t know what happened to Leah (homunculus leader. However underneath central (fuhrers elevator leads to homunculus secret base underground of military headquarters) envy and gluttony get in the elevator to go out into the civil war of central and eastern forces. gluttony got hurt by full metal so he was ultra hunger. and eat himself. Envy escaped and we see the elevator at the top empty with blood all in it.

Fullmetal underground transmutes himself as the source to get Alphonse body back with the help of the philosophers stone (Alphonse).

Then we see Alphonse at age 13 learning alchemy from isumi (their teacher) and he (Al) said he knows his brother’s alive. Lastly we see from the end of the last episode full metals father walking with some bad guy type professors (thule society in the movie) and then having him come home to find full metal waking up in his house asking where they are. His reply “welcome to the other side of the gate son”
and that my friends is the complete full metal alchemist

The battle of the venues for the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight is seemingly far from over. Although Mayweather and team were initially unhappy with officials from Texas and preferred the MGM in Vegas, it appears the lone star state is bending over backwards to land the pound for pound clash.

Dallas Mavericks owner and fellow billionaire Mark Cuban has thrown his support behind Dallas as the host city for the event. Cuban is no stranger to Mayweather either, having apparently befriended him during Floyd’s tenure on Dancing with the stars.

This is just the latest in a long line of moves by Dallas to pip Vegas to the post. Yesterday it was reported that outside officials have also been offered to help secure the fight, after representatives from Mayweather said they felt Texas officials would be biased in their decision making.

Despite canceling a trip to Vegas last week, Richard Shaefer has since then bafflingly said he is still open to offers, perhaps eager to squeeze every last cent out of Vegas he can get. It could also be the case that big Bob from Top Rank has talked some sense into Golden boy and pointed out that lining the pockets of either fighter with an extra few million is generally a good thing for the two of them as well.

Should Cuban decide to weigh in with a few bucks of his own for the guarantee, already set at $25 million from Jerry Jones, it will become increasingly harder for Mayweather to resist, not to mention for Vegas to match. With the combined weight and influence of $1.8 billion from Cuban and $1.4 billion from Jones, there isn’t much that the duo cant get done, and that might include landing the biggest fight of all time.

LOS ANGELES, CA – The internet has been abuzz since this Sunday’s Golden Globes ceremony, where Megan Fox jokingly remarked that she looked like a man.

When interviewed on the red carpet, she said “I look like Alan Alda in drag. I’m a tranny. I’m a man.”

At the time, reporters passed it off as a jovial attempt to cover for her nerves.

However, today she has cleared the air and officially reported: she’s really a man.

Megan Fox was born Mitchell Reed Fox in Rockwood, Tennessee. From an early age, Mitchell showed an interest in both performing and women’s clothing. When having a preacher lay hands on him did not ‘cure’ him of these interests, his parents simply put him on the pageant circuit.

By the age of 13, Mitchell had already started a career as a female child performer called ‘Megan Fox’. Making her debut on an Olsen Twins straight-to-video release, the twins have kept his secret all this time.

As a sweet 16 present, Fox’s parents offered him sexual reassignment surgery, which, given their child’s career, they’d hoped to write off as a business expense. Unfortunately laws prohibit such surgery to be done to minors.

Since then Megan has been working non-stop, and been included on many Hottest Women lists in publications around the world.

Megan, as she goes by now exclusively, also noted this Sunday how much she wants Salma Hayek’s figure. She has even scheduled surgery later this month to get it. After the two met in New York this week, Hayek offered to have a cast made of her bust so doctors can match them exactly on Megan Fox’s chest.

The internet is already speculating whether this news will be worked into the plot of the upcoming Transformers sequel.

Classic Game Room HD reviews CRIMSON GEM SAGA for Sony PSP from Atlus. This fantasy adventure RPG style video game has hand drawn sprites and a beautiful design all around. Japanese in style, but not overly cute or abnoxious, fans of new and old school fantasy adventures should check this one out. Guide your Luke Skywalker inspired character through an amazing quest to locate the Wicked Stone and avoid numerous bad guys and villains. Meet friends along the way, battle monsters and level up your characters. Excellent menu structure and leveling up systems round out this game with a high degree of playability. Save frequently and take it on the go, this CGRHD review of Crimson Gem Saga has gameplay footage from Crimson Gem saga on PSP showing game play in action. Graphically solid and with excellent audio quality, the pickiest RPG video game fan should get a kick out of this one. Storyling seems about average, but gameplay is a lot of fun and easy to pick up and take on the go.
